Wilmie van Tonder
Wilmie van Tonder has been married to Bernard since 2006 and is a stay-at-home mom of two in the coastal town of George, South Africa.
She first encountered the ministry of Revive Our Hearts when Retha de Villiers introduced her small group to Divine Design. Retha’s passion and testimony immediately resonated with her, and through the True Woman 101 and 201 studies, God began to change her heart in profound ways—bringing healing, repentance, and a renewed understanding of her role as a woman, wife, and mother. She simply could not keep quiet about what God was doing, and within the next two years, several groups of women began meeting in her home to study God’s Word together.
As relationships with the Revive Our Hearts team deepened through visits to George, it became clear that the Lord was drawing her into a more intentional role in the ministry. Wilmie never made a formal decision to become involved—she simply could not see a reason not to be. Looking back, she can see how God had already been preparing her heart for Revive Our Hearts to become a meaningful part of her life and calling.
