Surrender begins when we come to Christ, but it must continue throughout our lives. We often take back control by insisting on our own plans, preferences, careers, or relationships. A surrendered life continually says no to self and yes to God. Lasting freedom and spiritual alignment come when we release every area of control to the Lord.
