Unhealed wounds and unresolved bitterness often get passed from one generation to the next. God calls us to put away anger and bitterness by choosing forgiveness, just as Christ forgave us. Healing begins when we release past hurts to God and choose to break the cycle for those who come after us. Ephesians 4:31-32
