Where Do You Turn?
Seeking Him by Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth, brought to you in SASL by Revive Our Hearts South Africa.
This devotional considers where people turn for comfort when experiencing suffering or difficulty. It contrasts temporary sources of relief or escape with the biblical response of prayer. Drawing on James 5:13, “Is any among you afflicted? Let him pray,” the message teaches that the believer’s first response to affliction should be to turn to the Lord. Rather than attempting to cover pain with inadequate substitutes, believers are encouraged to find comfort in God’s presence, plan, and faithfulness.
